We made it to Missouri

We made it. We are now in Missouri after what felt like hours. I was asked by a friend a few days ago to go with her, her sister in law and family to Branson Missouri. After some thinking I decided why not. It would be a good excuse to get out and explore more of Missouri. I am based in Little Rock Arkansas right now so its nice to get away. The drive started out with the kids asleep. The silents didn't last long. The kids began to scream their heads off saying I am, "hungry" I need to pee etc. I am glad I am not a parent right now but when I do become one, I will be able to look back on this drive and say I survived. Well anyways I must get some sleep. I hear I might be going to the Springfield zoo in the morning. Maybe we will see my friends mom in the money cadge. Just kidding....

Don't be stupid like I was and hoard domain names. My current portfolio hasn't made me a single dime. Let alone gone anywhere. Its more a hassle. Now yes there are people out there who have struck gold. But with places like Godaddy etc manipulating the domain world its hard to make a sell. Before the domain crash of 2000 you would hear about this domain for hundred grand or that one for forty thousand. Now all the domain names are priced at two grand and never sell. Godaddy etc make their money now from hosting and website products. Not so much off domain sell. It has put a big dent in my 100 plus domains I currently own.

Search Dogs Are So Amazing.

I had so much fun bugging the heck out of the search and rescue K9s today at Little Rock Fire Department Training Center. Who knew that a dog could find you so quick! I even got to play with one of the K9s before going and hiding in a rubble pile only to be found again. These dogs are so amazing.

You never know what opportunity will come knocking at your door. I am David Lear a young 23 years old. Let me first say welcome to my blog and do come back. So back to the original reason I decided to write this post. I have decided to look into getting on the Central Arkansas USAR Task Force-1 as a dog handler. I have been talking to one of the K9 handlers who is on the team. She and another group are training this morning at 9:30am and I have been invited to come see the action. I can't wait to go see what its all about.
